Infrastructure Consultant at Architect level wanted to join one of the worlds largest Energy Trading software company based in London.

You will be a member of the Information Systems Team, working in a challenging environment supporting business in day to day operations as well as facilitating business changes.

The primary responsibility of this position is to develop, maintain, continuously improve and support the both internal as well as managed IT infrastructure, including Servers, networks and telecoms systems.

This role will be a major stakeholder in the successful delivery and performance of IT services for clients and the fulfillment of our obligations and Service Levels Targets.

Candidates should have experience in a similar position with a proven track record.

Key skills:

• Excellent knowledge and proven expertise of Cisco networking equipment including reference architectures for datacentre, branch and campus (CCNP, CCDP desirable);
• VMware ESXi 5 design, installation and management including SRM;
• Designing and deploying highly available solutions
• Deploying and managing iSCSI or/and FC SAN solution
• Designing and managing Active Directory
• Automation using MS PowerShell and Linux Shell Scripting
• Proven ability to collaboratively pursue issue resolution and push for long term and permanent solutions to on-going problems;
• Understanding of fundamental computer architecture, networking, virtualisation, storage and operating system concepts;
• A degree or equivalent in a technical, scientific or engineering discipline.
