Business Intelligence Analyst/BI

Due to ongoing expansion, WDS, A Xerox Company have a great opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid analysis, consultancy, production and development role.

The successful person will be supporting and developing the delivery of exciting device, social analytics and other global corporate web based systems.

In turn these are serviced by multiple datastores; including in-house Warehouse, DataMarts and other cloud-based services.

Day to day you will show your experience and ability in acting as a Consultant and Analyst. You will be comfortable communicating with clients, gathering accurate analysis and expressing this in a concise form.

You will then transform this analysis into a finished product, using your database skills, web and BI toolkit presentation excellence.

To be a great fit for this role you will:

• Be a self starter, working within a complex environment, for the team and the company
• Have good organisational and decision making skills
• Have the ability to automate and innovate in the business using information technology
• Liaise with other departments, in line with work demands, often on your own accord without instruction to maintain maximum availability and level of service.

• SQL, using Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server

• TIBCO Spotfire

• Some Web development, HTML, python, JavaScript

And you may also have:

• Industry knowledge of Mobile business, Social Media platforms

• Linux

• Other BigData or NOSQL storage systems
