Join a leading Microsoft Gold Partner Consultancy. Microsoft BI Developers and Architects sought to join our Microsoft Consulting practice (SQL 2012, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, ETL, Data Warehousing, Performance Point, Power Pivot, Power View)

Working alongside experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Consultants, Developers and Architects (including industry experts) you will be designing and developing innovative and powerful Microsoft BI solutions for our clients - typically FTSE 250. Continued new client wins are driving our growth; Hitachi Consulting is a leading implementer of solutions architected and developed using Microsoft Business Intelligence technology.

Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will recognise that the core of their skill set is formed through the pragmatic application of their technical expertise, allied to an ability to express their opinions to decision makers and problem solve.

The main areas of responsibility are:

• To develop and deliver end-to-end MS BI and Data Warehousing solutions (SSIS, SSAS
• To be able to present complex technical concepts and ideas in a business forum appropriately
• To assist the sales team on occasional pre-sales opportunities
• Demonstrable good presentation skills and a willingness to be active in the surrounding MS BI ecosystem (eg white paper generation/user groups/networking/speaking/blogging etc)

Microsoft Business Intelligence Consultants typically have:

• BI or consulting experience preferably including customer facing engagements
• Complete knowledge of SQL 2012
• Solid ETL, MSSQL, SSIS, SSAS (OLAP and Tabular), SSRS, RDBMS, Performance Point, Power Pivot, Power View Skills
• Understanding of BI, concepts and methods especially Kimball design techniques
• Ability to demonstrate Microsoft technologies confidently and articulate the strengths of the technology and shape these messages around specific business challenges
• Proven technical skills and ability to deliver client facing enterprise ready BI solutions.
• Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies an advantage.
