We're looking for a Head of CRM to join our growing team at dotmailer. dotmailer is a global email marketing automation provider headquartered in London. This senior management position will lead our internal CRM team, working closely with senior stakeholders at dotmailer and owning the CRM roadmap. Our Dynamics CRM is integral to day to day activity across our Sales, Client Services, Finance and Marketing teams and this role will be varied mix of consultancy, leading the development of the CRM and ensuring robust support for a global 24/7 business.
Day to day you could expect to be working on business requirements gathering and definition, functionality scoping, briefing and supporting our CRM developer, defining new business processes relating the CRM, guiding the CRM steering committee in decision making, ensuring functional documentation produced, and finding the most cost effective solutions to business challenges. You will need to be comfortable working at a senior level whilst being hands-on in this small team. A key project at the moment is our upgrade from Dynamics 2011 to Dynamics 2013.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of implementing and managing a corporate CRM, in particular Dynamics 2013. You will be able to communicate and collaborate with senior stakeholders in the business, turning business requirements into functional processes. You will be proactive with an innovative approach, whilst prioritising and managing the collective needs of the business.
Role and responsibilities:
- New Project & Functionality Scoping
- Business requirements gathering and definition
- Production of functional documentation
- Evaluate build vs. buy - long term vs. short term requirements
- Finding most cost effective, efficient solutions to business challenges
- Investigation & selection of development partners for things like plugins and add on
- Define new business processes as they relate to CRM
- Team management, managing team priorities based on understanding of business need
- Sign off on any requests/changes from the business
- Review and sign off on outputs from team to ensure quality
- Ensure robust support for a global organisation
- Liaise with steering committee/Directors
- Guide steering group in decision making
- Maintain close relationship with IT team and outsourced infrastructure support provider
Skills & Experience:
- Has implemented and managed a corporate/enterprise level MS Dynamics CRM system
- Specifically deep knowledge of MS dynamics 2013
- Experience with extended uses of CRM beyond core platform to meet business needs (ie plugins)
- Awareness of development environment of MS Dynamics and methods of delivery (internal vs. external)
- Strong working knowledge of SSRS (Report Manager experience a plus)
- Project management experience (Prince experience a plus)
- Ability to prioritise effectively and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Successful liaison between business users and technology
- Development expertise and experience (Java, C# plugins) a must
- Strong working knowledge of JavaScript
- Exposure to HTML
- Previous financial/budget management experience
- Vendor management & negotiation experience
- Innovative, can do attitude
