Job Summary:

• Have had previous supervisory experience ideally in a customer service driven environment

As a Team Leader in HomeSense your role will be among other tasks; to support the Assistant Manager in delivering the store's KPI's by managing the delivery of compliance with the Company processes through the store team and maximise sales. You will have a passion for delighting customers, being focused on delivering great service and act as an ambassador for the company. With an open and friendly personality you will be able to engage confidently with customers and be able to read people and adapt your approach accordingly.

Among other tasks the role will involve:

• Cover for the Assistant Manager in their absence.
• To support the Assistant Manager in the planning and the managing of the team resource and workload
• To support the management of the store team (including absence, performance management, disciplinary and performance reviews) to deliver the agreed in-store operational standards
• To support the Training & Development of Store Associates
• To plan and manage the delivery of the required Customer Service Standards
• Manage the day-to-day running of the sales floor
• Plan & execute special events within the store as required e.g. Events, Christmas Trading, Charitable Events
• Ensure that the company's operational and H&S; standards are executed to the required compliance and audit standards within their sales floor
• Motivate and drive associates to achieve high standards
• Carry out Duty Management responsibilities such as opening and closing of the Store
• To support the SM to ensure that shrinkage is controlled and kept to a minimum
• To support the Management Team to efficiently and effectively communicate with associates to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
• To deliver consistency on Visual Merchandise detail and standards on agreed areas as per Company VM guidance instructions
