Project Manager - Permanent - West Midlands
Our client based in Birmingham is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis. The successful Project Manager will have experience of managing a diverse range of business change projects through their full life cycle. You will have exceptional project planning, presentation and risk and issue management skills. You must be a certified Prince 2 Practitioner.
Key responsibilities for the Project Manager:
* Competently manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders
* Management of 3rd party vendors/suppliers
* Projects involving finance departments: pensions and corporate credit card rollouts
* Preparation of project documentation in a full project management life cycle including maintenance of project files and compilation of reports as required
* Management of risks and issues, preparation of RAID logs
* Regular updates and setting stakeholder expectations with milestones and deadlines
* Extremely fast paced environment
Key skills & experience for the Project Manager:
* Certified Prince 2 Practitioner
* Ideally you will have worked in the retail or travel sector
* Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
* Management of full project life cycle with strong project planning and budgetary skills
* Experience of managing projects with a budget of GBP1million
