VB.NET Developer, engineering and maintenance company, SQL Server, C#.Net and Android development, Agile, team foundation server.

This major engineering company is looking for a developer to join the team which is responsible for development of their main works management system. The system has nearly 2000 users and the development team size will be 5 once this hire is made. The majority of the system is built using VB.NET but all new development is in C#, in the near future there will be Android programming to do to as the systems evolve.

VB.NET and SQL experience are the primary importance here but there will be significant opportunities to utilise and strengthen C# and Android skills/interests. The team works to an Agile/SCRUM related methodology and whilst there is an element of support in the role, the majority of time will be spent on development of this critical system.
