Harrogate - Permanent - GBP20,000 - GBP22,000 per annum, plus extensive benefits and training
Junior Software Developer required to join key client based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The developer will join this busy operations team on a permanent basis. The client is a market leader in their industry and is looking to hire a highly talented and enthusiastic software engineer.
The successful candidate will have secured an unrivalled opportunity in the area to gain experience with and exposure to the cutting edge web development technologies and tools within the Microsoft stack. You will be trained by high level and very experienced developers in the design and development of web applications.
The ideal candidate is ambitious, hungry to learn and passionate about technology. Any previous commercial experience within a Development environment and/or being degree educated in Computer science related studies would be a distinct advantage.
Skills required:
- Commercial experience of software development/engineering ideally within the Microsoft technology stack, but not essential.
- Degree educated in Computer Science related Studies would be advantageous, but again not essential.
- The right attitude is very important with regards to the constant pursuit of continued personal improvement- hungry to learn about new technologies and methodologies.
- "Can do" approach to problem solving
Desirable skills:
- Microsoft technologies -.NET/ASP.NET, C#/VB.NET
- Web technologies - CSS, HTML, Ajax, JQuery and JavaScript etc.
