Software Network Communications Engineer C#, C++, Andriod,or Java Surrey based (LTE TCP/IP)
Job description: 5g/4g Software Engineer C# C++ or Java Permanent 38k to 55k per annum
A Software Network Communications Engineer is needed to work on the latest cutting edge technology solutions within a research and development organisation based in Surrey.
As a 5g Software Engineer you will work closely alongside the Technical Project manager and be responsible for research, testing and development into the very latest 5g technologies this is a Technical Software Development role. The ideal person should be adept at all areas within the SDLC, espicaially the TCP/IP stack and LTE the ideal profile should relish the opportunity to work on new technologies.
Key skills and experience include:
Significant research and development experience in mobile networking and in particular self-organising network techniques
- Good experience in software development in a telecommunications environment
- TCP/IP, LTE networking experience
- Understanding of low level networking systems
- Significant development in Object Oriented Software languages such as C++, C# or Java
- Good experience developing with Java/J2EE
- Good experience of working with Linux server operating systems
- Strong experience with developing/optimising either SQL or Oracle
- Ability to work with UML and structured requirements
- Experience installing VMware/Hypervisor experience)
- Exposure to basic configuration of Ethernet/TCP/IP systems and basic networking equipment, a variety of Scripting tools, REST/SOAP/SCTP
- Good communications skills both written and verbal English
Degree level qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Computing or relevant subject
Advantageous skills:
-Previous experience working on 2g, 3g or 4g prototypes
- Android experience
Salary: up to 38k to 55k D.O.E
