Field Care Supervisor - Domiciliary Care

We are now seeking an experienced and knowledgeable senior carer for our client's Pontefract branch. You will have achieved a minimum qualification of an NVQ 2/3 to work closely and to support the Branch manager of this busy and friendly Domiciliary care business based in Pontefract.

You will need to be a car owner/driver, have a positive and motivational approach to leadership and management, be approachable, caring and friendly. The branch is an established business and it is expanding fast and this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced person to join this happy and hard working team to develop their career further.

You will need to have excellent supervisory skills, have experience with conducting staff supervisions, hold team meetings, staff appraisals, plan weekly care staff rota's, carry out risk assessments, on call duties and community visits, update care plans, meet and greet new clients, liaise with families, care managers, colleagues, GP services and associated agencies. You will also need a good understanding of the CQC regs and care standards and enjoy working as part of a team supporting the branch manager and owner of the business.
