An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Revenue Management Analyst based in Luton, Bedfordshire to join the UK’s leading independent travel group with core activities in scheduled airline operations, tour operations and aircraft engineering. The company offers airline capacity of eight million sector seats and provide tour operating passenger volumes of some 911,000 customers and Aircraft Engineering delivers market-leading aircraft maintenance and repair services.

The main responsibility of the role is to achieve core revenue targets by delivering effective revenue management and pricing strategies, taking daily pricing decisions in an extremely competitive environment.

The role requires a good understanding of European airline market and key competitors, whilst appreciating supply and demand dynamics and external impacts, like competition movements, holidays and special events, market conditions.

The role requires an in depth understanding of the demand and market dynamics for the routes in their portfolio, including competition, customers, and schedules. The role requires detailed and accurate demand forecast management, to support the RM systems to optimise revenue.

As a Revenue Management Analyst your duties will be:

• Daily Pricing and Inventory actions in order to achieve/exceed the Revenue targets for the portfolio of routes managed.
• Accurate forecasting of customer demand.
• Research and demonstrate a deep understanding of markets in the portfolio.
• Implement strategies to maximise revenue against competitors, and communicate these best practices.
• Develop, and maintain up to date Route Action Plans for each route, which document detailed route strategies.
• Support RM development projects, and contribute towards the wider development of RM capabilities.
• Actively participate in trading and route review meetings.
• Collaborate in the development and documentation of RM best practice.
• Proactively liaise with other departments to ensure improve route, market and customer knowledge.

In return you will receive a salary of £25,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on experience.
