An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Support Co-Ordinator based in Bromley, Kent to join the UK’s leading independent travel group with core activities in scheduled airline operations, tour operations and aircraft engineering, to deliver outstanding service to both the travel trade and their 3rd party suppliers. The company offers airline capacity of eight million sector seats and provide tour operating passenger volumes of some 911,000 customers and Aircraft Engineering delivers market-leading aircraft maintenance and repair services.

The role will consist of a series of defined responsibilities. These include the ownership of some commercial decisions and the management of marketing budgets.

As an Sales Support Co-Ordinator your duties will include:

• Responding to and resolving all trade queries
• Targeted trade marketing execution in conjunction with the sales teams
• Co-ordination and distribution of daily Travel Agent communications
• Organisation of trade events
• Trade Web support for agents
• Managing and maintaining Travelbox in terms of set up of travel agents data / opening agent / amending etc
• Educationals- planning and execution
• Sales Team support - providing data and insight
• Reviewing existing departmental processes with the aim to propose/document/introduce new processes
• Responding to and resolving trade queries
• Ensuring agents queries are responded to and resolved to the benefit of both the agent and the company.

An ideal Sales Support Co-Ordinator will hold the following skills and experiences:

• A strong working knowledge of the UK travel trade.
• A strong knowledge of industry systems and processes, and a good working knowledge of Travelbox.

• PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word, MTG MI reports, Crystal, Pivot Tables.
• The ability to take basic information from any source and to add value by way of effective presentation, formatting and insight.
• Good interpersonal skills - the ability to interact commercially with colleagues across the business and with external customers.
• No higher education background required but good levels of numeracy and literacy essential.
• Able to work on own initiative with minimal guidance. Ability to manage external suppliers etc.

In return you will receive a salary of £18,000 - £21,000 per annum.
