Salary: £16,450.20 per Annum
Hours: 37 hours per week (waking nights)

Our client is a well established charity with an excellent reputation for providing high quality support and services to people with learning disabilities and their families in Islington.

They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to be part of a team supporting a 20 year old man. He is a kind, strong-minded man who enjoys using the computer, listening to rap music and attending exciting events in London.

The job will involve supporting him to manage his personal care and health needs, as well as supporting him to take part in activities in the community. They are looking for enthusiastic and open-minded people who are motivated to support the service user to maintain and develop his existing interests as well as to look for new experiences. His support workers will play an important part in his transition into adulthood.

Our client is looking for people with a positive, can-do attitude. Experience of working with people with a learning disability in a paid or voluntary capacity, preferably with people with physical support needs would be advantageous.They are committed to staff development and supervision and they will provide a detailed induction and on-going training and support to learn everything needed to be a great support worker.
