The role: Freshwater, an independent communications consultancy with clients across the UK and offices in Cardiff and London, is seeking a new HR Manager to join its fast-paced organisation.
In this new role, the HR manager will be responsible for the implementation of HR strategy and business planning, and will play a key role in shaping the organisation’s culture, vision and mission. . The successful applicant will be expected to provide HR advice, guidance and support at all levels within the business. As a HR generalist, the post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of best practice in recruitment, retention, training, policy development, performance management, absence and payroll systems as well as employment relation matters.
The person: The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will be MCIPD qualified or above. Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice is essential, along with experience in a similar role. The ability to advise and support both employees and management is a core part of the role. Possessing excellent negotiation skills, along with the ability to protect confidential information, is key
