The organisation is very successful within the rail industry and due to recent success in their field are now looking to expand and bring their design capabilities in house. Currently the design and development work is outsourced to a number of design houses and therefore this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and build a team around themselves on a Greenfield site.

One of the roles that they are looking to recruit for is a mechanical design engineer with interior design experience. The candidate will be responsible for the development and manufacture of interiors and elements of internal furnish for transport.

Requirements:
*Proficient use of 3D CAD packages
*Interior design experience from relevant industries (Aerospace, Rail, Locomotive, Automotive etc)
*Ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment
*Liaising with sub-contractors to ensure the smooth running of projects
*A good understanding of some of the design constraints within interior design
