This is an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service / Supply Chain Co-Ordinator to join the team of a Food and Packaging Technologist based in St Helens Merseyside. The company operate both in the UK and on the European Markets. They have their own 70.000sq factory with integral Warehousing, clean room production facilities and process engineering design capability.
As a Customer Service / Supply Chain Co-ordinator your duties will include:
• Reporting To the Supply Chain Manager
• Building and developing long term relationships intern/extern
• Work closely with existing customers, make sure expectations and demands are meet to deadlines
• Work with some of the world’s major Food manufacturers to ensure 100% in Quality, safety and compliance
• Making sure that Stocks are being managed correctly and that production is achieved
• Provide daily reports on time to department heads
• Manage logistics and planning with haulage companies
• Report to Customers on Production Service levels - PSL
The ideal Customer Service / Supply Chain Co-ordinater have the following skills and experiences;
• Manufacturing experience - preferably food
• Experience of Managing Customer expectations/service levels and day to day logistics
• Experience in managing PSL's
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent Team working skills
In return you will receive a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 pa plus pension scheme.
Working hours are 8.30am to 5pm.
