Project Manager - Regulatory, Retail Banking

A leading Bank are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead a very high Profile Regulatory Retail Banking Project.

The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis ensuring that the solutions delivered by the project are capable of achieving the benefits defined in the business case working within time, cost and quality constraints.

They will be responsible for:

• The successful delivery of the full scope of the project including business change management, technology and operational processes;
• Planning and designing the project and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate;
• Estimating, securing and managing the overall project budget and resource profile;
• Developing, presenting and monitoring the overall project plan within the defined governance;
• Preparing highlight reports and reporting progress to the Programme Board;
• Directing and motivating the project team;
• Managing third-party contributions to the project;
• Managing the project risks and issues, including the development of contingency plans;
• Change control and any required configuration management;
• Managing internal and potentially external stakeholders across a number of organisations including regulatory bodies and regulated firms.

Candidate requirements:

• Strong project management experience, with a record of successful delivery and management of budgets preferably within the Retail Banking and Regulatory Sector
• Strong leadership, people management and team building capabilities, with experience of managing both internal and external specialists for teams the size of 5-10 people.
