Commercial Administrator/Office Manager

An excellent opportunity for a Commercial Administrator/Office Manager to join an IT services company based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Working primarily in the south of England, our client delivers the full range of IT services to small and medium sized business, specialising in areas such as Cloud solutions, multi-site infrastructures and server virtualisation. Their highly-qualified consultants and systems engineers handle everything from fault rectification to planning and building entirely new IT systems.

Role

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Commercial Administrator / Office Manager to be responsible for running the administration of and to support a busy IT services company.

Reporting to the MD, you will be responsible for all commercial administration, including purchase orders and invoicing, compiling customer quotations and orders. You will liaise with suppliers and manage the supply of software and hardware goods to customers.  As well as be responsible for queries including, billing,  credit control and liaising with clients to ensure that they are receiving a full and comprehensive service.

In addition to this, you will act as PA and provide full administrative support to the MD and technical team, making travel arrangements, booking appointments and any other additional support that they might require.

Required Experience

  • Previous experience working in a similar role

  • Have supported a team or department within an IT or technology environment

  • Very organised with the ability to multi task and prioritise.

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook are essential along with excellent communication skills.

  • Has commercial experience / is commercially aware
