Job Title: IT and Marketing Administrator

Location: Blacker Hill, Barnsley S74

Salary: circa £15000 pa

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm

The company was founded in 1970 and has grown into the largest stockist and supplier of new & used wheel loaders, earthmoving equipment, waste recycling equipment and spare parts in Europe.

The company are currently looking to recruit an administrator to assist the IT and Marketing Manager in a variety of tasks covering the marketing and IT functions of the business. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and production of electronic and printed marketing materials
  • Creating mailing groups for target marketing
  • Management of social media accounts, increasing ‘shares’ by promoting the company’s page, uploading company news, information and videos
  • IT Support:

-          Assist with running of the network

-         Supporting internal users

-          Dealing with basic issues and escalating complex issues to the IT Manager 

-          Installing hardware and software on user’s machines 

-          Manage system backup 

-          Managing software upgrades

  • Systems audits – auditing inputted data on CRM, identifying errors and producing and evaluating reports
  • Identifying and coordinating IT training requirements
  • Any other duties as requested by management

  • Microsoft network
  • Microsoft Office
  • Fusemetrix - CRM
  • Ibcos – Accounts package

The Candidate:

The company are looking for someone with an interest in IT and Marketing who is technically and creatively minded who is looking to learn and improve their skills and knowledge in these areas.  Some technical experience is desirable and full training will be given to the successful candidate.  The ideal candidate will possess and be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Be flexible and adaptable as the role dictates
  • Experience of using MS office

The following would be desirable:

  • Experience of CRM systems
  • Experience of marketing techniques and online advertising methods
  • A good knowledge of social media applications
