Management Accountant - Cardiff

Our client is a business that operates within the service sector and continues to grow with exciting plans for the future. They are now looking to recruit a 'hands on' Management Accountant to provide full and complete accounting for a new project.

Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with Project Managers, your duties will include:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Full financial management of the project
* Budget setting and reporting on variations and risk contingencies
* Monthly and yearly forecasting
* Cost control and analysis

You will be a Finalist, Newly/Recently Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 'hands on' experience of project accounting/cost controlling, ideally gained within the utilities/energy sector.

You will have a natural ability to structure, analyse and interpret data, as well as presenting the information in a clear format; therefore strong IT skills with a genuine advanced knowledge of Excel. The Management Accountant will be a strong team player, with the ability to influence over a wide network of co-worker relationships and be able to work with a degree of autonomy and self-regulation.
