Field Service Installation Engineer

Founded in 1993, our clients are service providers for specialist Electronic Systems. Their core business is all about social care and protection and is built around their provision of Access Control, Door Entry,

Warden Call, CCTV and Nurse Call.

Role:

As a Field Service and Installation Engineer you will be required to provide on-site installation, maintenance and requests for service calls as and when required throughout the North West of England. This role will require participation in a Call Out rota.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• To undertake the installation, field service, repair and maintenance of Access Control, Door Entry, Warden Call, Nurse Call systems and CCTV
• On-site maintenance and service.
• After probationary period, also involve in participation in a call out rota
• To ensure any deficiencies in product performance or documentation is brought to the attention of the relevant personnel
• As a representative of the company to provide a professional approach in all aspects of work
• To undertake additional responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the directors.

Skills required:

• The ability to use common test equipment
• Experience and a proven track record in one or more of the core disciplines
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Good understanding of PC Software and common operating systems
• Good manual skills for electronic and electrical installation tasks
• The ability to be able to work independently and unsupervised
• To be able to keep detailed records.

Package: Negotiable depending on experience, plus fully expensed company vehicle, laptop and phone

Normal Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00, however a flexible approach is required

Location: Throughout the North West of England
