Production Manager
Bristol
GBP40,000 - GBP48,000 + performance related bonus and 25 days holiday (+bank holidays)
IntaPeople are currently recruiting for an industry leading precision components manufacturer in the Bristol area.
Role:
Supervise and manage the CNC machining and engineering production staff on the shop floor
Responsible for production planning and scheduling
Provide support and training to production staff
Organisation and maintenance of the machine tools, fixings and fixtures
Liaise with MD on discipline and production issues
Production of relevant KPI s
Experience:
Either a time served machining/precision engineering background or Degree/HND/HNC qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
Previous Production Management experience is essential (although my client will consider a senior production supervisor and train them to management level although a lower wage will be offered)
Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, ie Automotive, Aerospace, Electronics etc.
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
Knowledge and experience of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques
