Project Manager (Intelligent Traffic Systems)

Project Manager for Intelligent Traffic Systems (SCOOT, 21C and Capital Works) based in North West London paying cGBP45,000 per year (plus excellent company benefits and bonuses).

Working as a Project Manager in the Intelligent Transport Systems sector, you will help expand the use of intelligent traffic signals, as well as new crossings for pedestrian and cyclists, delivering benefits to all road users across London. This will involve working on SCOOT, 21C and Capital Works projects.

Role Profile:

• Experienced in project managing high volume short duration projects with strong communication skills
• Previous experience in managing projects with multi-supplier dependences
• Able to demonstrate the ability to direct/manage engineering and installation staff
• Should have experience in programming and managing subcontractors.
• Ability to work with and explain the project plans to all levels of staff and provide on-going feedback and communication
• Strong client facing and stakeholder management skills

You will coordinate the installation programme with all parties, liaising with procurement on the availability of equipment and planning staff resource to achieve the required run rate of installations (and coordinating the works plan with the selected subcontractors).
