Systems Engineer
Commutable from Surrey and West Sussex
This global company is at the forefront of technology working within network management, application developing and providing communication solutions to an extensive range of sectors such as Maritime, Government, Media, Finance and Corporate Sectors.
This company now requires a Systems Engineer to analyse and improve upon their satellite communications equipment.
Key responsibilities;
* To act as in-house Product expert on selected satellite systems, communications technologies, systems and applications.
* To own, investigate and resolve escalated engineering service issues
* To provide accurate and timely technical information or analyses on a variety of engineering investigations.
* To evaluate new technologies or products, and propose their introduction to the global portfolio
* To produce and maintain detailed technical documentation relating to products, services and customer networks
* To mobilise at short notice to survey, install or configure customer networks
Experience and Qualifications;
* BSc/MSc/PhD/BEng/MEng (2:1) or HND/HNC in Engineering discipline
* Programming knowledge (Perl, Java, PHP, SQL)
* Hardware and Software systems development and design experience
