This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and tenacious individual to work for a prime software services company with aggressive growth plans. Are you an experienced Administrator/Receptionist who is looking for your next career move? If so, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Administrator (Support team)

Salary - commensurate with skills experience

Competitive benefits package

We have recently relocated to new offices in Bracknell Beeches, with prime links to the local rail and bus network. This new Administrator opportunity will provide an exciting challenge for the successful candidate to become a part of an energetic and assiduous team where you will become an integral part of the company. You will also provide an element of Reception duty during the latter part of the afternoon, where you will be the professional welcoming face of the company - answering incoming calls and providing a warm greeting to all our guests and ensuring that key front and back of house tasks are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

With the guidance and support of our Support Services team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of key personnel diaries and mail-box; preparing and recording documentation for regular meetings; providing administrative support; organising the team appraisal process, and producing key customer monthly reports. Key to this role will be the ability to think outside the box. You will also co-ordinate the team's UK and world-wide travel arrangements, arrange bookings for their identified external training courses (liaising with HR), identify location and arrange team off-site meetings, and other internal functions.

Our expectations are high - you will be able to demonstrate an efficient and accurate approach to your role and be capable of working to tight deadlines. Can you prove that you are an individual with self-motivation, and a positive and enthusiastic approach to the position?

We require our new colleague to have a strong customer service focus, and you should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and process.

You should be able to demonstrate previous customer service experience in a support environment, communicate effectively across multiple departments, and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritising projects effectively in a pro-active and professional manner.

We expect that the successful candidate will be educated to A'/'GCSE' level standard in at least three disciplines, with an expectation of minimum English, Maths, Computing/ICT, and have been in a similar administrative role for a minimum 3 years. Pre-requisites: must have good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

In addition, you will be a confident team player, capable of working independently, with a good sense of humour and an engaging personality. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written. A pro-active approach is essential - an understanding of the IT software/IBM sector would be of benefit.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business offering genuine career opportunities and progression.

Hours of work: 0900 - 1730 Mon-Fri

(With the flexibility to commence at 0830 to cover Reception during periods of annual leave)

If you are interested in becoming part of a company destined for great things and are motivated by a fast-paced environment, we'd like you to join us. A career with Portal will offer you real accountability, the freedom to do your job and a friendly, supportive environment.
