The ERP System / Project Manager Role:

The role-holder will manage the development and integration of Epicor (ERP software) throughout the company through project co-ordination, training and technical development.

ERP System / Project Manager Responsibilities:

> Establish and maintain a company-wide project plan for the implementation of Epicor into all functional areas
> Manage the functional areas to develop the Epicor system in line with the project plan and within the agreed budget
> Develop an Epicor skills matrix for users and deliver training and/or arrange external training support
> Develop Epicor functionality to meet the needs of the business by internal technical development supplemented with external technical development
> Liaise with external Epicor support provider(s) to control user support and system development (coding) activities
> Provide first-line Epicor support for users, and signpost users to Epicor-related resources where applicable
> Keep abreast of Epicor developments and/or Epicor user information and assess the application within the business
> Assist with company-wide IT system development and support
> Assist with the attainment of operating profit by ensuring excellent customer service & product quality, whilst improving internal efficiency, with the most efficient use of resources

ERP System / Project Manager Experience / Skills:

> Microsoft Office, including MS Project - advanced
> Microsoft Windows desktop & server – intermediate
> Microsoft SQL Server – intermediate
> Database reporting – advanced (eg Crystal, SSRS, or similar)
> ERP software – advanced experience with a mid-tier ERP system (eg Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Lawson, SAP Business All-in-One, Infor ERP, IFS, Oracle JD Edwards, Syspro, Exact Globe, QAD Enterprise,etc)
> Epicor – direct experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential
> Coding – the ability to define a functional specification for coding by others
> At least 3 years’ experience in commercial IT support and/or development
> At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with food industry experience a distinct advantage

You may have worked in the following capacities:
ERP Change Manager, ERP Implementation Manager, ERP Consultant, Food Manufacturing ERP Manager, ERP Change Manager.
