An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Professional with management of employer accounts and targeted sales experience to work within the Employability sector. You will have a proven track record of strategic account management; exceeding sales targets and developing stakeholder relationships.

You will be responsible for:-
  • Developing and Managing a portfolio of employer accounts - with the focus on vacancy generation and account expansion.
  • Working closely with Business Development at all levels, in order to establish key trust in developing and managing employer accounts.
  • Influencing and designing effective recruitment processes with employers in order to give our customers the best chance of success.
  • Generating a high level of sales activity, to develop and drive account expansion, and develop business from a local, to regional, to national level with some of the biggest employers in the UK.
  • Driving vacancy success (in partnership with the VMCs) through effective use of our Customer Relationship Management and Vacancy Management systems.
  • Developing internal relationships constantly, in order to ensure trust and partnership working between operations and account management, and ensure that Operations welcome and maximise vacancies brought to them.

Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in working in a sales / target driven environment.
  • A history of personal sales performance, and exceeding sales targets
  • Evidence of account management - the ability to develop, maintain and grow key customer relationships over a period of time.
  • The ability to work across multiple contracts and targets, and manage priorities effectively
  • Experience of working towards and supporting targets across multiple areas in line with an overriding national
  • Experience building, developing and managing client and stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent presentation and networking skills - ability to present in a sales environment to senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and can work proactively independently or as part of a team.
  • Possesses drive, energy, determination and confident approach to executing tasks.
  • Excellent all round IT skills
Additional Information
Salary up to GBP34.6K pa


This role has a regional base but with potential extensive regional and national travel
