CNC Machine Setter/Operator
Shift 1: 6am - 2.30pm (Monday to Friday) A shift allowance of 10% is applicable.
Shift 2: 2pm - 10.30pm (Monday to Friday) A shift allowance of 20% is applicable.
OBJECTIVES- Must have knowledge and experience of CNC Milling.
- Knowledge and experience of Heidenhain controllers is essential.
- Capable of setting and operating Machining Centres.
- Ideally be able to rectify programme details as needed.
- Ideally be skilled in the basic operation of manual milling machines/lathes.
- Must be able to read and correctly interpret engineering documentation
- To ensure a professional, quality service (external and internal) is provided at all times throughout the various stages of production.
- To maintain, develop and build long-term relationships.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
- Advantageous to have knowledge of CAD/CAM software.
- Abilities to set and or operate other tool-room machine-shop equipment (eg Spark eroders, surface grinders).
- Use/knowledge of lifting equipment such as fork lifts/overhead cranes.
