Hourly rate: £20.97 - £24.27 per hour (based on qualifications)

Leeds College of Building is the UK's only specialist further education construction college. We have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment and are looking for a part time Assessor/IQA to work within our HE Construction, Design & Management team.

You will be required to assess and gather evidence to build candidates' portfolios from Level 5 to 7 enabling them to meet NVQ requirements. Responsibilities also include carrying out candidate's inductions, enrolment and profiling. You will be required to visit candidates on site in the West Yorkshire region and throughout the UK where necessary; therefore the ability to use your own car is essential.

You should ideally have a relevant qualification, professional body membership and recent industry experience. Possession of or willingness to work towards assessor/IQA qualifications together with Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy qualifications i.e. GCSE (A*-C) in English and Maths are essential.
