We work with a range of high profile global businesses as well as smaller growing companies. As part of our continued growth we are looking for a Sales Development Executive to join our fast growing New Business Department
As Sales Development Executive you’ll be responsible for developing new business opportunities to fuel the Communicator pipelines. You will own, develop and qualify leads with clients big and small in the retail and travel sectors. Sales Development sits at the core of our strategy and success and you will be driving new business at the very front of our sales funnel to fuel growth in our core markets. You’ll be sharing your expertise in sales development across the wider team and supporting our culture of continuous improvement. This position is the ideal first step for disciplined hunters to start a career with a fast growing dynamic sales team.
Main Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Communicator Retail and Travel Sector Pipelines
- Actively and proactively seeking new opportunities utilising mutliple tools and methods
- Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in target accounts to qualify opportunities and formalise next steps
- Identifying and developing opportunities
- Achieve or exceed monthly targets of qualified opportunities
- Work closely with Sales Management and individual Business Development Managers to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities
- Research and build new and existing prospect accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, appointment setting)
- Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using Salesforce.com
- Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Communicator products, industry trends and competition.
- Manage and refine the sales development process to ensure continuous process improvements
