We are currently recruiting for Assistant Manager in the South Shields area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading convenience store retailer with around 25 stores in the North East region who are looking to strengthen their management team due to growth within the business.
The company has grown rapidly over the past few years, and they strive towards a reputation for providing quality goods with customer service levels that are second to none. As a growing company you will be an integral member of the management team and contribute towards the way the business moves forward.
The key responsibilities and duties of the Assistant Manager will include:
•Maximising the store sales performance and gross profit targets of your designated store
•To support with the management of every aspect of the commercial, financial and operational running of the store you are designated
•Delivering the highest standards of customer service
•You will support all stores in the region as and when required
The Ideal Assistant Manager will:
•Have proven retail experience, preferably at a supervisor or management level
•Have the confidence and ability to lead, motivate and inspire an enthusiastic team in providing sales support and customer service
•Have strong organisational skills
•Have the ability to operate effectively within a progressive retail environment
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is commercially aware and able to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
