Class 1 LGV Driver - GBP11 per hour - Avonmouth

We are looking for 2 x full-time LGV Driver's to work at our site in Avonmouth who have a digital Tachograph card, CPC training and a minimum of a Category CE licence. Roll on Roll off experience is desirable however training can be provided.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Comply with all Company Policies, Procedures and Contract of Employment, including all aspects of Health & Safety;

• Comply with all Policies and Procedures, including all aspects of Health & Safety when on site, and when visiting external sites;

• Complete and carry any relevant documentation appertaining to the duties that they a performing, also in respect to the vehicle and the load they are conveying;

• Ensure you have the correct DVLA requirements to drive the type of Company vehicles for which you are employed to drive and comply with all DVLA regulations;

• Ensure that the company vehicles you are driving are fit and safe for road use - carry out vehicle checks and immediately report any defects that require rectification to your line manager;

• Ensure that any load being carried on/in the vehicle is safe and secure;

• Ensure that the weights of the vehicle and of the individual axles are not above legal limits;

• Comply strictly with driver's hour's regulations on driving times, breaks and rest periods and also comply with the Working Time Directive;

• Ensure you comply with the Highway Code for all aspects of driving regulations.
