My client a leading IT solutions provider are seeking to recruit an Account Manager with a minimum of 12 months account management experience ideally within the NHS.
As an Account Manager you will take responsibility for a designated number of the Business Unit's existing clients. You will act as the first point of contact for any matters to do with these customers outside of any existing project delivery work and customer care service. You have a core objective to protect existing Annual Support and Maintenance revenue as well as generating new business from these accounts. Ensuring excellent client relationships is imperative to achieving this; as is maintaining a good understanding of each customer's market, business drivers and requirements, and having a good awareness of the existing and potential product and services that we can offer.
Key Attributes & Skills
As an account manager we expect you to be able to communicate fluently, confidently and in a consultative manner externally and internally at all levels. You will be especially adept at building and maintaining excellent client relationships and be someone clients and colleagues feel they can trust.
We also expect your commercial awareness to allow you to notice opportunities, spot risks, and know when to push or not.
You will be dealing with numbers and figures, thus we expect you to have sound numerical and mathematical skills.
We value dynamic presentational skills, marketing creativity, and good technical awareness of product sold.
