Platform Product Owner (Mulesoft) - South London/Kent - Immediate Requirement

A fantastic new opportunity has become available for an exceptionally talented Platform Product Owner to join a UK market leader in the insurance space. My client currently has 3 major IT transformation programmes running simultaneously, making it a really exciting time to join their quality organisation.

The successful Platform Product Owner will be responsible for the delivery of a large portfolio of projects and programmes, managing and motivating a collaborative team, managing complex integration projects, and working with the CIO senior leadership team to inform and define overall direction and strategy.

Essential skills:

• Strong experience of Systems Integration Programmes with the Mulesoft product
• Hands-on experience with Mulesoft
• Proven experience as a technology and integration leader and evangelist in the areas of ESB, API, SOA
• Extensive software architecture experience
• Solid customer engagement experience
• Successfully led and orchestrated technical solutions for enterprise software or hosted high-tech services using JEE and/or JSE frameworks
• Good experience of core API concepts including REST, JSON, etc

Desirable skills

• Experience with other integration vendors such as IBM, BEA, Oracle, Tibco, JBoss, RedHat Fuse
• Previous experience with SOAP/XML/Web Services
• Insurance markets Financial Services experience
