Urgent Opportunity has arisen for a 3rd Line IT Security Engineer Authentication Services specialist. This is the chance to join a powerful and professional team with varied projects and a busy infrastructure schedule upcoming.
This is a hands on role for a Directory and Certificate Services lead specialist.
You will be providing technical expertise and ownership for my clients Windows Authentication Services.
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills/Competencies
Proven experience supporting Microsoft Directory Services and Operating Systems at core level, including a full understanding of Kerberos and SPN setup;
Proven experience of supporting DELL Active Roles Server for Directory Services Management;
Proven experience of implementing and supporting Microsoft Certificate Services infrastructure, including HSM integration;
Proven understanding of operational security;
Proven track record of implementing operational process improvements, including automation of provision and role based access control;
Excellent communication skills;
Experience working within an ITIL Framework (specifically incident, problem and change management).
In addition the successful candidate will have experience in some of the following areas:
Preferred skills/Competencies
Experience of supporting Varonis Datadvantage;
Experience of supporting ACE authentication tools;
Understanding of Business Continuity solutions;
Understanding of network protocols and SAN technologies.
By the nature of the technical work undertaken, the role will sometimes require working outside of normal business hours (evenings and weekends), and will include providing 24 x 7 on call support on a rota basis.
