One of the UK's leading insurance firms is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst with a strong background in web based .NET systems. The company in question are currently implementing a brand new policy administration system and require a highly technically focused systems analyst to join the team focusing around Microsoft technologies supporting the implementation on a global scale.
The role will work on a business critical programme delivering a new policy admin solution for this global insurance firm. These are high profile business critical roles working with an expert delivery team. The role has huge growth potential and the chance to work on the biggest implementation of its kind in the UK.
To be considered for the role of Systems Analyst you will have:
- Experience working as a Systems Analyst ideally within the insurance or wider FS space
- Technical background in application development and/or testing (or related)
- Strong technical background in:
* Microsoft .NET technologies
* SVN - Subversion
* XML
* SQL
- Experience with core insurance systems, underwriting, policy admin, claims, etc would be highly beneficial
- Strong communication skills
- Degree education ideally
Personally you will be a disciplined thinker and capable of working across organisational boundaries in a very demanding, high-output environment. You will have outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy is essential. Must be pro-active, adaptable and results driven. You will be a proven leader who must be able to work under pressure, juggle multiple projects, using own initiative and motivation to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision.
