This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer to join a company that's been at the forefront of their industry for over 20 years! Our client has been rapidly expanding into new international markets so it's a truly exciting time to join this growing company. You will be joining a product focused Agile development team and be undertaking hands-on development of their web-based user interfaces and software services. This role entails working on PHP Back End applications, client side application code including HTML5 as well as JavaScript, you will also be interacting with their in-house-developed web services and API's in languages C and C++.
The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, with the ability to work in a highly technical and interdisciplinary development team.
You will need:
Previous demonstrable experience in developing server software for Windows or Linux.
Experience using object-orientated PHP, HTML, SQL, MVC frameworks, AJAX, XML, and JSON.
In depth understanding of application development for the web, rather than websites.
Previous experience with cloud computing platforms.
Previous experience using and designing API's.
The following would be advantageous but not essential:
A relevant technical degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
Experience with Agile software development processes.
