Senior PHP Developer - Zend Framework

This number one supplier of Cookware and Kitchenware in the UK are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with solid experience in Zend Framework 1 / 2 to join their IT team.

The Developer will be building and implementing new features and also extending and supporting current bespoke systems.

You will be a natural problem solver and self motivated to see a project through from start to end.

There will be a requirement to use both back and front end development skills.

The ideal candidate should be able to use creative thinking to bring new, interesting ideas to the table and have the capability to learn new, modern technologies as they go.

You will have a willingness and desire to learn with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

The successful developer will need the following skills and experience:

- PHP 5.3+
- Zend Framework 1 / 2
- MySQL
- jQuery
- HTML and CSS
- Experience of Version Control Systems (ideally GIT)
- 3+ years commercial development experience

Nice to have skills:

- Doctrine
- Capistrano
- Apache
- Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront)
- Experience using Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
- Knowledge/Experience of agile development methodologies.
- Exposure to unit testing and automated testing.
- Bootstrap

- Beanstalk

This is a full time role based in their Head Office in Gloucester.

You will receive a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 and automatically entered into the company bonus scheme.
