PLUMBER/HEATING ENGINEER

The Works Department has a vacancy for a full-time qualified plumber/heating engineer who will provide a high-quality and efficient general plumbing and heating repairs service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out on time and within the College’s policies and procedures with regard to Health & Safety and maintenance.

The applicant should be a competent plumber/heating engineer ideally with extensive  experience within the industry.  Previous experience in using copper, iron and plastic pipe work systems is essential. Experience of working within Listed Buildings would be advantageous, as would experience with lead work and pressurised hot water systems.   Hours of work are 0800-1700 hours Monday to Friday with the flexibility to respond to emergencies out of hours.
