Software Development Engineer in Test - GBP55K

My client are currently recruiting for a SDET to join their web development team. This is a fantastic and interesting company who specialise in information security. They are looking for a SDET who can test across multiple web platforms and can really test their products to the breaking limit.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience of implementing test automation for web services, web applications, and server processes
• Advanced capability with test automation tools (ideally Selenium WebDriver, Protractor)
• Solid ability in at least one programming language. (preferably one of Java, Ruby, Python JavaScript or PHP)
• Database skills with confident SQL expertise
• Experience of functional testing of API's (preferably JMeter)
• Working in continuous integration environment (preferably Jenkins)
• Experience of working in an Agile environment
• Experience with ticketing and workflow systems (ideally Jira)
• Good technical awareness of development/test in open source LAMP environments, with some experience of Windows
• Performance and load testing experience would be beneficial
• A passion for quality and building effective automation and tools.
• Good eye for detail
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
• A proactive and energetic person with a desire to contribute collaboratively to the development of the team and the company
