My client are a leading digital marketing agency who are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic PHP Web Developer to join their growing Birmingham office.

Role:

As a PHP Web Developer, you will working as part of a growing development team and will be responsible for maintaining a variety of new and Legacy systems. This will include new features and enhancements as well as fault resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creation and design of bespoke PHP applications and services using native code on a custom platform
  • Generate and run complex MySQL queries
  • Support existing sites and the maintenance team when required
  • Consuming APIs

Required Skills:

  • Procedural and Object Orientated PHP
  • Strong HTML and jQuery knowledge
  • Knowledge of normalised databases and experienced writing optimised queries with MySQL

Desired Skills:

  • Node.js
