FPGA Engineer - FPGA/VHDL/DSP/MATLAB!
Optimus Search is looking for an FPGA engineer, on behalf of our client - a global leader in producing innovative advancements in telecommunication technologies, expanding the horizons of mobile networks internationally and pushing the boundaries of communications capabilities worldwide!
The role will be primarily focused on the communications sector working on LTE radio communications equipment.
Skills required:
- Six or more years' experience of FPGA logic design within a commercial environment.
- Experience of VHDL coding languages.
- Experience with a major FPGA's vendors tools for simulation and timing closure.
- Experience of developing and implementation of DSP designs for Radio within FPGAs.
- Experience in implementing and debugging high speed SERDES, LVDS interfaces.
- Experience and knowledge of modelling tools such as Matlab and Simulink.
- Knowledge and experience of remote radio or baseband signal processing (UMTS, WiMAX, LTE) or equivalent.
