This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Manager to work in their Research & Technical Development department with a global remit. The key responsibilities for the Technical Manager is to enhance products, improve quality whilst retaining value for money and retain and improve the benchmark of their products through formulation development.

The successful candidate will have experience of researching and identifying raw materials and overseeing formulation changes.

The Technical Manager will be overseeing global chemical compliance ensuring that any risks and opportunities are clearly identified and key stakeholders are kept informed.

The Technical Manager will work closely with the Product Innovation Steering group to identify opportunities and develop new products.

The Technical Manager will possess strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels through the organisation.

Previous experience working in the coatings or paint industry is highly desirable as is previous leadership and management experience.
