Group IT Business Solutions Manager

Hays IT have been appointed by Greencore Group, a leading International Manufacturing organisation to appoint a Dynamic IT leader into the role of Group IT Business Solutions Manager. Reporting into the Group CIO, the purpose of the role is to lead and manage a centralised team of business systems managers to deliver process efficiencies across all operations in the group through the use and leverage of standardised systems.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing international multisite business and help shape how IT operates throughout the Group.

Key Responsibilities for the role:

- Establishes and maintains the enterprise architecture supporting the group's business operations.
- Manages the execution and delivery of Group IT Business Solutions projects to agreed timescales and budget.
- Leads the selection and introduction of external third party service providers to support Group IT Business Solutions related activities where required.
- Manages the operating and capital expenditure associated with the Group IT Business Solutions seeking opportunities to deliver cost saving opportunities.
- Leads the identification and delivery of continuous improvement opportunities to Group IT Business Solutions business operations.
- Manages the relationship between Group IT and HQ Functional Leaders acting as a go to individual for HQ issues.

Essential Background & Experience:

- Minimum of 20+ years in a variety of IT management positions covering Business Systems/Applications and Core Infrastructure related products and services.
- Minimum of 10+ years manufacturing and logistics experience preferably developed in food or consumer products sectors
- Minimum of 5+ years managing large scale IT enabled transformation projects or portfolios of medium sized IT projects.
- Minimum of 5+ years managing external third party outsourced service providers.
- Proven experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in multi-site locations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
- PMP/PRINCE Certified (or equivalent)
- ITIL Certified (or equivalent)
- LSS Green Belt certification (or equivalent)
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field (Desirable)

Technical Experience:

- Knowledge or experience of the following (or similar)
- FMCG Operations
- ERP Applications
- BI Technologies
- Telecoms Technologies
- Datacentre Operations
- Knowledge of SCM/SFDC/MES/CIM Applications desirable
