Systems Analyst - Life and Pensions - Up to 35K

Our client, the UK's leading Business Process Outsourcing organisation, are looking to recruit a Systems Analyst to support the delivery of business critical applications. This role is to be based in either Bristol, Swindon or Cheltenham.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Analysts to get an understanding of business needs, thus ensuring a smooth translation into systems requirements for the design phase of the life cycle.
  • Create and update systems documentation
  • Working alongside designers/developers, ensure the overall design minimises complexity whilst still meeting the needs of the business.
  • Ensure solution is fit for purpose
  • Identify risks and issues and mitigate them where appropriate
  • Provide estimates for the production of IT deliverables
  • Proactively identify new or improve processes, policies and standards for all parts of the development process
  • Act as the interface between the IT project team and the business throughout the life cycle.

Requirements:

  • Experience of systems analysis techniques
  • Track record of planning and producing project deliverables on time and budget
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience of eliciting requirements
  • Experience of delineating solutions for large scale developments
  • Full project life cycle experience
  • Experience of Workflow, BPM and Document Management technologies
  • Ideally experience in Life and Pensions or Regulatory environments
