An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global, blue chip logistics and distribution organisation.
The UK GM is a strong advocate of CI within the business and has championed its early success and expansion. They are driving a culture of Operational Excellence across the business globally and investing heavily in its people and in improving performance.
With this in mind they are seeking a Lean Six Sigma Manager to their Southern Distribution Centres. This is an opportunity for a Passionate CI practitioner to make a real impact during the early stages of this CI roll out.
Responsibilities include:
Undertake CI implementations on site
Ensure local maintenance of CI tools after implementation
Facilitate and foster continuous improvement process
Support operations in the identification of improvement potential and in the implementation of improvement initiatives
Ensure sustainability of local CI compliance
Identify and collect best practices for further development of the CI tools
Monitor savings development of site(s)
Managing multiple projects
Root Cause Analysis
Applicants are sought who have previous experience of Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies and with proven deployment capabilities.
You will have strong leadership and influencing skills to develop and creating consistency in your team; along with an approachable and down to earth attitude.
