Linux Administrator - Linux, AWS, Amazon Web Services, Cloud Infrastructure Migration
Linux Administrator - Linux, AWS, Amazon Web Services - Infrastructure Cloud Migration consultant will be working with an outsource service provider on an exciting project to migrate this national and well loved charitable organisation's 3rd party infrastructure into the cloud.
This contract will be based in Swindon and is paying up GBP475 per day.
Role
The programme is to migrate the client's infrastructure in to the cloud and requires someone with strong Linux and AWS Cloud experience to take a lead on the technical aspect of the cloud transition.
As the Contract Cloud Linux Administrator (AWS, Amazon Web Services), ideally, you will have experience in the following:
- Linux system administration (preferably Red Hat and Ubuntu)
- Amazon AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, auto-scaling)
- Some experience with tools such as Puppet/Chef/Salt/Docker although not essential
- Linux/UNIX email (Sendmail or Postfix)
- Web Servers (preferably Apache and/or nginx)
- Load balancing
- Virtualisation (preferably Red Hat Xen or libvirt)
