Senior QA - Automation - Cloud Computing
Our client is looking for a talented and energetic QA Tester/Test Engineer to develop and conduct automated and manual tests in an Agile Environment, for a fast-growing cloud service and telecom company.
The individual must be comfortable in a fast-paced and self-directed environment and be able to balance several tasks at once. The ideal candidate will take a genuine interest in the latest technologies and in the production of great working software as they will be joining a team of talented, tech-savvy and innovative professionals.
The role:
- Lead and enhance our clients current test processes, ensuring that regular builds of the UK products are free of regression bugs
- Create test plans and scenarios, along with associated data and scripts which can be automated within the team
- The tests created will form coverage of, manual & automated testing, regression testing, functional testing, integration testing as well as testing systems before the UAT phase

Requirements
- 3+ years testing experience
Experience in creation of test cases/scenarios without formal requirements or Legacy documentation
Knowledge of: - software best practices like Agile methodology, test-driven development (TDD), behavioural-driven development (BDD), and continuous integration
- software test case design and testing techniques
- testing web based applications across multi-browser/operating systems
Desirables
- Experience in automation testing - open source tool (selenium, fitness etc.)
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of a range of software packages (including version control software, WIKI, JIRA issue-tracking systems or similar software)
- Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Scripting languages: Java or C#
- Writing automated test scripts from scratch
