Our cash rich and global client is seeking a customer-focused 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their highly motivated, vibrant and dynamic workforce in Cwmbran that utilises innovative and cutting-edge tech as Digital TV specialists.
You will be responsible for providing technical support for a wide range of technologies for users at its UK offices as well as some remote IT Support to other Regional sites (European).
The role:
Analysing, diagnosing and resolving problems over the phone, via email or face-to-face.
Installing, configuring and troubleshooting computers, hardware systems and IT software.
Raising and maintaining incident tickets.
Monitoring performance against SLAs.
Participating in roll-outs.
You must:
Be experienced in supporting Active Directory.
Have in-depth knowledge of performing hardware and software support for Windows and Linux products.
Be able to perform repairs on Servers, desktops, notebooks, tablets and printers.
Have a strong understanding of TCP/IP routing, Networking packet analysis tools use and configuration.
Be able to provide an exceptional customer-focused service.
Be able to work pro-actively.
