Senior Test Analyst (SQL, ETL, Agile) - City of London - up to GBP55,000 plus bonus & benefits

A Financial Services software provider with an enviable industry reputation, has a new requirement for a Senior Test Engineer to join their City of London office. To be considered for this role you require a solid understanding of working to Agile Methodology, experience working with both Test Automation and Manual Testing, SQL, SSIS for ETL, Data Access, Data Manipulation and Data Workloads - both transactional and analytical. Any knowledge of data warehousing would strongly support your application as this team has a focus on managing testing to ensure data quality, integrity and validity.

Knowledge in all or most of the following areas is required:

*Financial Services industry sector experience
*Agile methodology
*Automation Testing (ideally using Coded UI, FitNesse, QTP) and Manual Testing
*Risk based, structured test processes on enterprise scale systems
*Ability to seek out critical defects
*Identify risks, contribute to test planning and to risk workshops
*Provide comprehensive, factual reporting on concerns, risks and issues to the Test Lead
*Mentor less experienced team members
*SQL Server, SSIS for ETL and an understanding of Data Warehousing concepts ie Snowflake or Star schema
*C#, ASP.NET, XML

Any experience of VSTS 2012, TFS 2012, SSAS, SSRS, LINQ or HTML would be desirable but is certainly not essential.

This role will have regular interaction with key internal stakeholders in various parts of the business, so you require excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical information for individuals with varying depths of technical understanding.

Experience within the Financial Services industry is essential and it would be of benefit if you had an interest in the capital markets sector. There will be very occasional travel involved with this role - mainly to Europe and the US.

It is expected you will have degree in a relevant discipline eg Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems or Mathematics along with an ISEB or ISTQB.
